Aishwarya (Telugu: ఐశ్వర్య;Tamil: ஐஷ்வர்ய); is a South Indian actress who has acted inMalayalam, Tamil and Telugu movies. She is the daughter of popular actress Lakshmi.[1] Her mother tongue is Telugu.

Oliyampukal (1990) is Aiswarya's first film. It was followed by Mamagaru (1991), Rasukutty (1992) andMeera (1992). She played double role in Butterflies (1993) and also in Gardish (1993) which was remake of Malayalam movie Kireedam. She works in a computer firm and occasionally acts in films.[2]She is now also acting in the malayalam serial Paarijatham being broadcasted in Asianet in which she does the role of Lalitha Bhai.

Born as Shanta Meena, she changed her name for cinema as Aishwarya. She has a half-sister from her mother's second marriage.
She is now married. She battled with both a turbulent marriage and drug addiction during recent times.[2]
